2d gear geometry generation

My company just purchased a 3000 watt laser. We have no gear experience. I would like to experiment with cutting spur gears (obviously low tolerance). Cadkey is our CAD software. Can anyone suggest a software that generates spur gear geometry suitable for my purpose?
