If the setup was for 32.82 deg. then I'm guessing
the true HA is 30 deg. I would bet the shaper set
up was to use standard cutters and slides. At 30 deg
HA my software shows a non shifted Gear with a span
measurement over 9 teeth of 3.7365". The pinion has
all the profile shift and measures over 3 teeth
1.181. One or both measurements will be smaller
for backlash. Looks like the pitch circles don't
touch. This is not at all uncommon.
