I like to use TiCN on the cutters. Stroking speed is important. Depending on the length the surface speed may be correct in the middle of the stroke but it accelerates and decelerates toward zero at the beginning and end of the stroke.You can alleviate some of this by increasing the stroke length so that you are at or near speed when it enters the part. Don't do light cuts unless you can increase your radial feed.
I stopped buying Gleason cutters because they are severely undersize producing a long tooth.
