We are about to start a project involving fine pitch hobbing (0.15, 0.25, 0.35 module) on pinion ( OD 3 to 6mm) and segment ( OD 30 to 70mm), material SS 303 / 304 / 316 / brass
I am absolutely new to this kinda operation, but hv seen some other shops doing this job.
We are planning to pick up few Mikron 21/0, 21/2, wahli w90 for pinion, and Mikron 26/0, 132.02, wahli w91 for segment
I found some machines like gautier are mechanically, whilst Mikron, Wahli are hydraulically driven, does this affects the quality of hobbing..?
