this is supposed to work as a helix drive and the mating gear is a long shaft with the same nr of teeth. So the centre distance is 0. Circular backlash is 0.1 mm and it is already incorporated in the tooth thickness. If the 5.5 mm balls are too big then 4.5 mm is fine, but would it be possible to calculate the measure for both of them?
