I don't know if you've considered this, but we used to have 4 No. 3 gleasons that were all setup on one bevel gear. One trip an I could "doff" 4 gears.
The real benefit was flexibility, when I could set up one machine on a different gear, and still change 4 in a trip.
Probably 4 small hobs (like the B-C no 3) might be cheaper than one with a specialized loader, and the tool wear spreads out over 4 cutters.
Just a thought...
