Hobbing a Prime gear??

Has anyone done this? I've got a differential hobber that has feed gears. Is it possible to hob a prime gear using both a feed/index gear combination to cut say, 15 deg LH and setting up the diff to cut 15 deg RH? Would the result be a spur gear?
