Worms are cut on a thread mill.I have seen threaded bar cut and bored to size but be carefull of cracks in the threads.Some worms are cut by fly cutter.You list a 1.25 pitch diameter, but do not specify pitch? or tolerence. Yes some are ground. More info could help me to help you!
