I have a Fellows Pfauter P-251. I have a partial Pfauter manual for a 251. The constant for the lead works. I am getting wrong results when using the tangental constant flycutting a worm gear. The constant is 3/16 over the lead.
Does anyone know if the constant is consistent between the Pfauter and Fellows Pfauter. And if not, what the correct constant is? Also, how do I verify the constant on the machine?
