I recently bought an old Barber Colman hobber And I need a manual for it. I also could use some change gears fore it also. I only have about 10. I also need a Gear arbor. The hob arbor is with it but the tapered bearing sleeve that rides in the bronze bushing is missing. I could make this and I was also thinking about making a gear arbor. My machine has a single over arm and it has a center to go in the end of a shaft. I am assuming that this is for splining shafts because this center fits inside a bronze bushing. I am assuming that this center should be removed and the gear arbor should ride right inside this bronze bushing. Ant help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Jim
