Why does my BC 16-16 cut beautiful parallel key splines but when I try to cut involute splines I get scallops and an awful finish over the entire spline? This machine has cut nice involutes before, what may have changed? I hope that the fact that it cuts perfect parallel key splines will help narrow down the troubleshooting.Please share your theories.
