When I received my 12 it had the master from another machine with 2 bridges for setting the edges. I made
a bridge for setting the tips ( not so important). To reset the master I had to pull the pins and shift
the gauges. To get that correct I had to make a setting gauge that plugged into the work head.
Simply a round stub (2 shown above) with a carefully milled 20 deg. angle resolving into a face at an offset
of work 0.
Then set the tools to this gauge and then back to the master. The stub also was useful to set the tips
and then the bridge for the tips. The intersection of the 20 deg flat to the face must be at 0 center line
of the work head. To set the tools the first time the work head has to be at 90 deg.
Worked for me.
