Hi All,
I resolved this yesterday with Robert using his setup for a gear he is cutting by reversing his set of change gears, a 2-start LH hob and my handy Setup Reverse program.
If anyone has a machine with constants that are unknown, the first recommendation is to go to the FAQ page and contact the manual providers listed there - manuals have a lot more to offer besides constants.
Knowing how difficult manuals can be to find, there are topics in the FAQ that describe how to find basic constants.
Also there are great articles contributed by August Lehman where he has found his constants for a Seiwa hobber - complete with pictures! He also used the FAQ and his ingenuity to get started.
And this forum - there are many visitors and contributors who share their expertise and knowledge about hobbing. So ask questions!
