I am a bit inexperienced on the topic of gears and would like some advice.

I am making a solidworks model for a project that I am working on. In this design I will be using a worm gear with provided power from a 4 pole motor similar to an electric drill. I would like to use the worm gear to power a helical gear as in a standard drill, but would power a differential in which the middle bevel gear will provide rotation to a bevel gear on each side at a 90 degree angle.

My question is, how do do I determine the pressure angle for the worm gear to helical gear, and how do I determine the needed pressure angle between the bevel gears.

How do I determine how many teeth are needed on the helical gear in response to the number of teeth on the worm gear.

To give me an example, please use less than 8 teeth on the worm gear and a gear ratio of at least 4:1.

The bevel gears should all have an equal number of teeth as the helical gear.

Thank you,
Davin
