Using the manual the machine will weigh anywhere between 4950 lbs and 5700 lbs depending on the model. This weight does not include the motor weight (approx. 500 lbs) or any risers. The demensions of a 6 type are 5' 6" length, 3' 10" width with apron closed and 6' 4" height without riseres or motor. As listed in the manual 6 type shapers can cut a 5" face width external and a 3" face width internal (without any risers). The max external pitch diameter is listed as 35" and max internal pitch diameter is 25". We have a 6 type model 615 that we use and these numbers all seem accurate. I can say for sure that we have used our model 6A (not a regular 6) to cut internals with 4 tooth shank cutters.
