Horizontal, or vertical type Z?
Either way, your looking at a 70 year old machine. If you're expecting to put in directly in service to cut precision gears, you'll be disappointed. With a fair investment in parts and repairs, has the potential to generate excellent results.
As with any other gear shaper, inspect the indexing worm and wheels, guide assembly, cutter spindle bushing fit, work spindle TIR and worst of all, botched repairs.
