Now for the quality of the cutter material. Do you have an Ash Gear catalog? The reason I ask is they have a good explanation of the cutter material and the properties of various cutter materials. WHat they are capable of handling. If the base material of the cutter is not of high quality, it will not perform well. Not to plug any cutter manufacturer but when I want a quality cutter, I go to a quality manufacturer.. Don't expect a cutter made in China to be of high quality.
